This amazing, untouched Federal chest of drawers retains a gorgeous, darkened, mellow surface. The oval brass pulls and escutcheons are original and have never been disturbed. The case features matched bird's-eye maple veneer drawer fronts and reeded turret columns with acanthus-carved capitals on all four legs. The swelled, tall, turned legs are the best New Hampshire has to offer. This is one of the finest and most sophisticated New Hampshire chests available.
