Signed on dial Joshua Wilder
Hingham, Massachusetts, circa 1810
Original grain painted surface
Height 48 inches, Width 10 1/4 inches, Depth 5 1/2 inches.

In pristine condition and beautifully proportioned, this remarkable survivor retains its original grain painted surface, brass hardware including finial, and painted dial with Roman numerals with fabulous polychrome painted American shields highlighted with graceful gold gilded swags. The dial's crest again features elegant painted swags above the beautifully executed script signature of Joshua Wilder (J.
